About

About

The IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Circuits and Systems (ISICAS 2026) is a leading global forum for presenting and discussing the latest advances in the theory, design, and applications of integrated circuits and systems. The symposium will take place from November 22 to 24, 2026, at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.

The program will feature keynote lectures, technical sessions showcasing pioneering research, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies. Participants will also experience KAUST’s dynamic research ecosystem and world-class facilities.

ISICAS 2026 offers a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the future of integrated circuits and systems.

Accepted papers will be published in Special Issues of:

  • IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers (TCAS-I)

  • IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs (TCAS-II)

  • IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration Systems (TVLSI)

  • IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems (TBioCAS)

  • IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Artificial Intelligence (TCAS-AI)

  • IEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems (OJCAS)

Submissions

Requirements

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers with a complete description of their integrated circuits and systems implementations and collected measurement results.

All accepted papers will be published in Special Issues of TCAS-I, TCAS-II, TVLSI, TBioCAS, TCAS-AI, and OJCAS shortly after presentation at ISICAS 2026.

In addition to the IEEE ISICAS special section requirements for: TCAS-ITCAS-IIOJCASTVLSITCAS-AITBioCAS

Submissions should meet the following criteria:

  • Analog and mixed signal, nonlinear, communications, power, and biomedical circuits must include on-chip implementation and measured silicon results.

  • Digital circuits and systems and VLSI must include at least FPGA verification.

  • Extended versions of recently published conference papers with significant additional materials are also welcomed.

To ensure consistency in evaluation, only submissions meeting these requirements will be considered for review.

Paper Preparation and Submission

All submitted manuscripts must conform to the formatting and page limit requirements set by TCAS-I, TCAS-II, TVLSI, TBioCAS, TCAS-AI, and OJCAS.

Authors of accepted manuscripts will be invited to present their work (oral or poster) at the conference, which will be held at KAUST, Saudi Arabia. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Poster and Best Live Demo presentations.

Manuscripts must follow the standard single-spaced, double-column IEEE Transactions format, as specified at the following link: http://ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org/create-your-ieee-article/use-authoring-tools-and-ieee-article-templates/ieee-article-templates/templates-for-transactions/

Detailed Instructions for Papers Submission

IEEE TCAS-I

Instructions for IEEE TCAS-I authors:

Requirement for IEEE TCAS-I Submission:

Include FPGA-based hardware implementations

IEEE TCAS-II

Instructions for IEEE TCAS-II authors:

IEEE TBioCAS

Requirement for IEEE TBioCAS Submission:

Custom-designed CMOS ICs for biomedical applications and NOT on FPGA/CPU/GPU-based hardware implementations.

Instructions for IEEE TBioCAS authors:

IEEE TVLSI

Instructions for IEEE TVLSI authors:

Requirement for IEEE TVLSI Submission:

TVLSI emphasizes system-level innovations or implications across system, chip, and package levels, as well as HW/SW integration. It focuses on large-scale systems-on-chip (SoCs), FPGA-based designs, 2.5D/3D chiplet-based systems-in-package, system-on-interposer, or multi-die integrations, including die-to-die interfaces. Contributions should address holistic platform design challenges beyond single IC components.

IEEE OJCAS

Instructions for IEEE OJCAS authors:

IEEE TCASAI

Instructions for IEEE TCASAI authors:

Requirement for IEEE TCASAI Submission:

No quantum computing, Include FPGA/CPU/GPU-based hardware implementations.

IMPORTANT

When submitting a paper for ISICAS 2026 (either for TCAS-I, TCAS-II, TBioCAS, TVLSI, OJCAS and TCASAI), please select the option ISICAS 2026 Special Issue.

Plagiarism and Excessive Re-use of Earlier Material

Papers submitted for ISICAS 2026 will be checked for plagiarism and improper re-use of authors’ earlier material using IEEE CrossCheck (click here).
